I have a question and couldnt find a general remote control thread so here goes... I am looking to buy a nice $100-200 universal remote that will transmit to IR and RF devices. The only thing I can seem to find right now are remotes where they use RF to relay to IR boxes. I'm looking to control an HDTV Wonder card which for some god-awful reason runs on RF whereas the rest of my home entertainment system runs on IR. Thanks a lot guys.

Are there any adapters or anything like that to resolve my problem?

It's the ATI HDTV Wonder card for PC. It runs on RF signals just to be different from every other component I have. I guess I can live with having a 2nd remote but it would be nice to consolidate.

I don't have the ATI card, but there are some IR PC remotes, my guess is that if you buy one of those then you should be able to use them with the PC SW to control the ATI card. Look in the review section on this site for the, one was the imon and there was a second one. Then you could teach those IR commands to your universal learning remote
