... Sorry guys... had to show you what I've been up to... again.. I know you don't get out of the forum much.
___________________________________
Well I didn't want to do too much promoting and what not until we got the new information on the web site etc; nevertheless, it IS available, and we would love you to get some and use them and tell us what you think.

We just won the 'Peoples Choice Award' at the NTEA work truck show, and we're very proud about that.

Look at the videos. Order one... Put it in and use it.

I personally guarantee that you will love it.

We need more photos, video, and testimonials from people that have installed them.

The sooner the better!

Help me out guys... I owe one to each of you when I get past this first stressful part of dumping it all into something new.

Tell enough friends and post the link a few times and I'll give you a free one right away.

Thanks guys...

I think it's brilliant, but I don't have a truck, don't drive and live on the wrong side of the pond.

Such a misleading title in this forum. :(

I agree.

We want racks! We want racks!

Your Jet Rack is fun to look at and may be nice to use, but I can think of other racks that surely would be too s!

DJY - due to the "brilliant" design of the JET RACK system... It's modular and uses globally available hanger strut as the rail system. Therefore we can easily ship the unit anywhere in a tiny 7.5lb box.

We are also in the middle of setting up dealers and distributors around the globe. In fact we have more than a few European dealers who are very interested. So you will be able to get them in the UK... Until we sort it all out, they will be shipping directly from our headquarters in the US.

Do your distributor or favorite dealer a favor and tell them about the JET RACK. They stand to make some very nice points on a product with NO competition.

It's the proverbial ground floor.

It's busy work setting all of this up, were just now finished with the box design for the next batch. Currently we're working on upcoming shows, POP displays, Videos, upcoming TV commercials, literature, a new trade show display, accessories, etc. Right now I'm busy designing an adapter that will allow you to use a Little Giant ladder OR a regular A-frame without any changes.

So much to do...

RC and Chic...

Just wait until you see the Rack we'll be showing at CEDIA.

It wouldn't be this kind of rack that you are thinking of, is it?

Jay,

I am starting a new job at Foxwoods Resort and Casino here in CT. They have messege boards that I could post items for sale on. Would you like for me to fill out a form and have them post it? Foxwoods employs about 12,000 employees. So it should be seen at least. However, it can only stay up for two weeks. But unlimited about of times. I do not know if I could use my own posting, as far as paper and pictures goes, or if there is a limit amount of space. But when I start on Sunday I'll pick up a form to fill out and let you know what is allowed and what is not. Also, I might be able to ask someone in the enginering dept if the dept itself might be intrested it in. I doubt it though, "not in the budget". Yet they have given the state of CT over $2billion in slot profit in the past 13 years. Go figure from there.

King... that would be GREAT!

Nice pic too.

Let me know.

What part of CT are you in. I have some relatives in various parts of your state... And some recently moved friends as well.. :-(

I'll have new promotional postcards next week if anybody wants a few just holler.

They would be good for posting on any bulletin board.

Thanks, that nice set of a rack belongs to Linsday Lohan.

If you know where Foxwoods is at, then all you have to do is go to the top floor of the newest hotel and look out the window. And try to find my house amongst the woods.

I live in Ledyard, which is where Foxwoods is, techinaly. But since it's on reservation they have their own name. Which is Mashantucket. And they are the first and only native American tribe to have their own zip code. They just received it with in the last two years.

Like I said above I am not sure if Foxwoods would allow me to post my own, your's, post card of their own. I'll check into it though. If you can, scan the post card and email me it. So that I would at least have some type of sample when I check out the form. [email protected]

Generally, I LOVE a good 'rack'.
But what the heck is that!
It looks like something that would hold a ladder! :)

King, Thank you. Now I can focus on my work...and now when I think of racks, I think of Jet Racks not "she racks!"
I'll never understand why us men are so fascinated by a couple of large, warm, soft, bags. I just love 'em!
By the way Jay, I ordered one. Can't wait to try it out. Should get here quick if it's coming from Waukegan, IL. I'm only 50 miles away. Gotta get some strut now.

Thanks King, I'll be able to do that when they get in. It should also be available on the web site soon...

Sounds like an interesting place up there in the woods. I should be visiting people out you way in the summer.

I'm going to NYC in June for a trade show in late June... Should be fun.

Chic... Thanks for the order! As far as the bags? You know we always want what we cant have!... Thank you L.L. Thank You.

Get the shallow strut... 7/8" deep. It get's it that much closer to the roof.

Handy instillation tip of the day:

The sliding head on the Jet rack system was designed with some 'play' in it's movement. This was entirely on purpose. You can easily bend a piece of strut by stepping on it. This is useful when it comes to mounting the strut in places where you may want to offset bend it and go over an obstacle such as a light, pipe, rib, or just follow a big bow in a roof line as some vehicles have.

You can put some pretty severe bends in the strut, and it will work just great. It will operate almost silently and completely smooth after you dab a little white lithium grease up inside the track.

I have a pretty good bend at the end of the strut that makes the 4' ladder go in and out my side door on my van.

The funny thing about that one is that I almost never kept the 4' ladder in my van since it took up too much space and wasn't the "one size fits all" type ladder such as my 6'. NOW I use the 4' ladder most of the time.

...OK.. It's not that funny, but I can't imagine not having my 4' ladder anymore.

One other thing we got that was pretty neat was a 5' Werner... Don't see to many of those, but it fit perfectly into a short bed cap we were working with.

I ordered it from Bird Ladder and picked it up the next day. ... I REALY like the 5' size. It's just hard to find them stocked at the store... I was glad they could be ordered.
