Does anyone have the code for the ON button on the remote? For some reason I can learn all of the other buttons, but ON locks up my TSU-3000 when I try to learn it. Same thing occurs if I learn direct to the remote or try to learn to the remote via Pronto Edit.

Thanks

No I haven't. I'll give that a try tonight. I did attempt to use some ON codes from some Spacer pcfs in the TSU-3000 section, but the ON code in them was bringing the lights up to the preset level rather than full on which is what the ON button does on the Lutron remote.

Same deal w/ every one of those I tried. The ON takes it to the preset, but not full on like it is supposed to.

It's been a while since I decoded the Lutron commands, but I do recall them all using one big command set. Some commands didn't work on certain models, but I thought the Off and On commands were the same across the board. The Protocol uses a pretty short command that repeats. You might try learning by making sure the remotes are in absolute alignment, start the learning process on your Pronto and then hold down the On command. Sometimes it takes a while for the remote to learn the repeating command correctly.

If that still fails to work, try the tap method. Start the learning process on your Pronto and then a sharp tap of the On command on the OEM remote. Some IR protocols have a command when the key is released, and the tap method will allow learning of both the press and release commands. However, I saw no evidence of a separate release command when decoding the Lutron commands.

The strange thing is all of the other buttons learned correctly. It's not that it won't learn ON, rather attempting to learn ON locks up the remote. I have to pull the battery on the Pronto to get it to respond again. Learning the ON code is literally crashing the Pronto. I've tried holding down ON, I've tried the tap method you are referring to etc. Another interesting thing is that most of the published codesets are different than the ones I have been able to successfully learn.

For example, these are the ones I have been able to successfully learn...

off
0000 0067 0000 0007 0341 010E 005D 010E 005D 005D 0168 005D 005D 010E 005D 00BA 005D 01D9

Note they are different than most of the other published Lutron codes in that they start w/ 0000 0067 whereas most of the published codes I have found are either 0000 0068 or 0000 0069 to start off. I've even tried hacking the codes together using the noticeable patterns in the codes it will learn.....to no avail of course.
