I have an LG UM7570PUD TV and it has no direct button control to enable Screen Blank that I can find.

You can enable Screen Blanking by a series of seven button presses.
This turns off the screen without turning off the TV.
Does anyone know if there might be a discrete code for this option?
It's a 2019 LG UltraHD TV if that matters, and my remote is a URC MX-980.

i doubt that you'll find an IR code for this.  RS232 or IP would be your best bet, but you won't have that option with an MX980 unfortunately unless you install an MSC400 basestation.  (and nobody should do that) :)

I actually do have a URC MX-5000 as well, and it does IP.
I had just listed it on Craigslist today but if it can make my LG TV blank then I'll stick with it over the MX980.
