I would like to be able to "Jump" back or "Return" to the previous channel when I use my VCR (it is a JVC 3500, but I think this problem applies to most brands of VCR's). I am pretty sure there is no discrete code for this so I was wondering if anyone had devised a macro to do this?. I am using an Onkyo receiver and a Sony TV (no volume output on the TV, otherwise I would use it to change the channels). I have noticed this question on other VCR forums but have never seen an answer. Thanks in advance.

My VCR will jump back and forth with eiter the QV (quick view button, set up in the menus) or simply by hitting enter...that will toggle between the last two enetered by the keypad.
hope that helps.

Basically there's no way... unless there's such a feature built-into the VCR (some actually do have it), there's no way to simulate it with any existing remote.
