Hello,
I have both MX-850 and a MX-700 remotes, and am looking for discrete ON/OFF codes for my new Yamaha CD-C600 CD player. The "Play" button makes a decent ON discrete code, but I've not found a discrete code for the OFF function.
If you don't have codes specifically for the CD-C600, the codes for any late model Yamaha CD Player will probably work. Additionally, I might be able to import discrete codes from Pronto CCF files, so if you have such a file with discrete Yamaha CD player codes, this might do the trick!
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Bill

Here are On and Off codes for CDC-697. I doubt that many CD changers have discrete on/off however.
Device Code: 121 (0x79) Function: 126 (0x7E) ON 0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94
Device Code: 121 (0x79) Function: 127 (0x7F) OFF 0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

It took me a while to figure out how to get these codes into the MX-850, but I searched the many Remote Central forums and finally found instructions on how to do this using ProntoEdit4. Neither of the codes worked! :( I wasn't supposed to copy the header line from each code set, was I? FWIW, I didn't!
Does anyone else have any codes that they think will work?
Thanks, Bill
