Thanks for the help, Jason. Is the device code the same as the set up number in the preprogrammed dbase? Under setup # 80 there were 2 power functions, but seemed to be a toggle, both were #44 but not on and off

I don't know. I have never programmed a URC Remote. I got the codes from here.

Maybe it just a coincidence that it is #80. I don't know how URC name their codes. Maybe some one else does!

Did you try them?

thanks again Jason. I'm not sure those will work for urc, but if not I may just pick up one of those remotes made by ofa and try those codes with it

Allthough I have not programmed URC remotes, I do know you can import Pronto Hex Codes into the Software. Do a search of the URC Forum...the above Hex Codes should work just fine.

For Power On you would only use this,

0000 0068 0000 0010 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0345

Cheers

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the help. I ended up downloading pronto edit to import the hex codes into, but when I press ok in the ir set up, it tells me it's not a valid ir
---------------------------
ProntoEdit
---------------------------
Data does not define a valid IR code
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

any ideas? I'm setting device and brands to n/a in regular RC5 mode

update - nevermind, it finally clicked, literally and figuratively. I just put all the commands into the ir panel and then just coppied the button over. I don't think I was pasting them all in before and maybe that was the catch, but at any rate, it worked, so thanks for your help!

In "Button Properties" double click on "Set IR", select the "View IR" Tab, paste Hex Code in the "IR Code" Window and select OK.

Cheers
