Client had a Chad remote controlling a Integra 8.2. I have managed to learn all of the zone two commands into a MX900 with the exception of zone two volume up. The MX900 learns the command but pressing and holding the volume up on the MX900 will not ramp up the volume, it must be repeatedly pressed in order for it to work . Tried all of the learning tricks, and checked all of my ir databases with no luck. I do have what I think is a PCF code even though it starts with a 8 instead of a 5. Is there any way to convert this to a CCF code? Here is the code 8000 0000 0002 0000 000a 2455 0007 0000.

Thanks
Chris

You decoded that from just that one number! ; )

Is there a way to convert PCF to CCF yet?

Thanks
Chris

I got them from the Integra/Onkyo Hex code spreadsheet, Which was also in my RTI library

The Onkyo CHAD was based on the original Pronto series, so it uses CCF format *not* PCF.

For information on original Pronto series hex codes and what the first four digits indicate (including 8000) see [Link: remotecentral.com]

Thanks for the codes and hex info link. I have both the RTI and Integra databases, couldn't find any that worked. Guess I will bring the TS1000 along just in case I need to do the learn and re-learn.

There is also some in the Sheet Tab: Discrete Zone2 (dot-5 & older) which use two Device numbers and Function Numbers (like Pioneer do).

Cheers

Thanks everyone for the codes. None of them worked, had to learn the volume up to a TS1000 and then to the MX900. I will post the code here if I can get it downloaded without Pronto Edit 4 crashing the computer. It's not playing nice with my USB to serial adapter.
