Here's my problem, hope someone has the answer:

Samsung ht-x710, home cinema with the following functions:

usb
dvd
fm tuner
Bluetooth
aux1 in
aux2 in
optical in

The samsung remote has individual buttons for usb, tuner and dvd, so no problems there.

Unfortunatly the bluetooth, aux1, aux2 and optical functions are all accessed via a singular "aux" toggle button. Secondly the device has a memory to always go back to the last used aux function even after a reboot thus we are never able to tell any starting point.

I have learned all the remote hex codes, some pasted below.

Power Toggle:
0000 006c 0000 0022 00ac 00ab 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0040 0016 0014 0016 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0016 0015 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 003f 0016 0040 0015 003f 0016 06e5

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You can use MakeHex to generate all possible IR Hex Codes for your Device.
You will also need IR Tool Modified and DecodeIR.DLL to get the Protocol and Device Number needed for MakeHex and select the IRP File that corresponds to the Protocol info.
You can use CCF Panels (IR Panels) or Hex2CCF to generate a CCF file for testing.

Your Device is,
Protocol: NECx2
Device: 67.83

MakeHex
Makes clean IR sequences from IR protocol files. See the readme file for more information.
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

IR Tool Modified
Decodes a learned infrared Hex codes (only codes that start with 0000) that you paste (Ctrl +V) into the Hex Code Window and press the Decode Hex Button and a box appears to give you information on the protocol, device number and function number. Requires the DecodeIR.DLL file.
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

DecodeIR.DLL
File required by DecodeCCF and IR Tool Modified.
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

Documentation of protocols decoded by DecodeIr.dll is in that .zip file and also online
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

CCF Panels (IR Panels)
Generate a CCF file from the HEX file created with MakeHex.
After creating a HEX file, open it with a text editor such as NotePad. Use "Edit" "Select All" (or Ctrl +A), then "Edit" "Copy" (or Ctrl +C) to copy all the text. Then start IrPanels and use Ctrl +V to paste the text into its window and press Generate CCF File. A CCF file will be created in the IR Panels Folder called IRCodesCreate (Don`t use the file called IRCodes Master) that you can use for testing in a Pronto Remote and some others.

These also can be helpful,

DecodeCCF.exe
Decodes all learned infrared codes in a CCF file and gives you information on the protocol, device number and function number. Requires the DecodeIR.DLL file.
[Link: hifi-remote.com]

Hex2CCF
Generate a CCF file from files created with MakeHex.
[Link: remotecentral.com]

Just read all the readme files for more information.

WARNING!
Do this at your own risk.
You may find something that you are not suppose to like a Service Menu or have undesired results.
Pay Attension to how your Device is reacting to the generated IR Hex Codes.

If you use this method and find what you are looking for Please Post Your Results for others. Thanks!

I've the same issue. Mine is samsung HT-TZ315 and the OEM remote has a toggle button which toggles between AUX1, AUX2, Bluetooth & Digital IN.
The code for the input toggle is...
0000 006c 0000 0022 00ac 00ab 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 003f 0017 0013 0017 003f 0016 003f 0016 0014 0017 0013 0017 003f 0016 0014 0016 003f 0017 0014 0016 003f 0016 0014 0017 0014 0016 0014 0016 0040 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0014 0017 003e 0016 003f 0017 003e 0016 06e7
Is it possible to get code for each inputs from the above one...

It is only possible to get Discrete Input Hex Codes if the Device has them.

You can search for them yourself by Downloading and using the Programs in Post 2.
Or you can Download the File in Post 5 (same Device Number as yours, 67.83).

If you don`t find any they most probably don`t exist!

Good luck!

Will there be any chance for new codes if I generate codes for functions above 255 and so on...

If you want to try other Hex Codes you will have to try different Device Numbers like 67.84,67.85,67.86 etc and generate all 256 Hex Codes for that Device Number.

I think you will be wasting your time though because these type of systems are cheaper Surround System Solutions that are not meant for Custom Installations and they don`t have the functionality.

If you were to buy an AV Receiver and DVD player from Yamaha,Denon etc. then you would have these control options.

Sorry for the bad news!

With this type of signal, function numbers only go from 0 to 255.

MakeHex doesn't know that, so it won't give you any error message if you try to generate with larger function numbers. It will just use the number modulo 256 (so 256 will really be function 0, 257 will really be function 1, etc.)

If you send the unit a Play command does it turn on and go to the DVD input?  You could use that as a starting point for an input macro.
