I have a Mitsubishi 73831 TV and have tried all of the HEX codes I've found on the site, yet none of them seem to work. I have the same problem with my Yamaha RX-V2700.
How can I go about obtaining codes for these?

What remote are you using? I'm not sure about your TV, but there's tons of discretes for the Yamaha. Which codes have you tried and what have you done with them?

Thanks... not sure why, but I tried the codes again and they worked. Still not sure why they didn't work the first time, but now they do.
