I need a little technical expertise here. A few years back I bought a MX-500 for my home entertainment system and was able to program all the necessary discrete codes into the MX-500 from a OFA 8811 with simple three digit codes (Sony WEGA, RCA UTV, Pioneer A/V receiver, and Pioneer DVD player). I've recent upgraded to a Panasonic TH-50PX77U, a Toshiba DR5 DVD recorder, and a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR (courtesy of Comcast) with the same old Pioneer A/V receiver. Since I liked the MX-500 so much, I purchased a MX-600 (for its RF capabilities). So, now I'm trying to program the new MX-600 with the necessary discrete power codes so I can program some macros. While searching for the simple 3-digit discrete codes, I've discovered these crazy multi-digiit discrete codes. I know it's been a while, but can somebody give me the skinny on what I need to do to program discrete power codes for my new equipment into my MX-600. Thanks.
