I recently had 2 sony receivers replaced with 1-hd/dvr 1 standard Direct Tv branded receiver. I am having a real problem programing my Pronto 3000 for the standard receiver. After learning the new remote into the pronto I keep getting a repeating signal to the receiver. When I press the right arrow the guide keeps moving to the right. Same with the up, down, and left keys. When I press a numeric key the digit keeps displaying ie. 1 1 1 1 1 or 2 2 2. The only way to stop it is to press exit or select. It also seems like each time I try to learn a function I get a different hex code. I have 2 pronto remotes and the problem is consistent on both of them. Any thought? Is there a pcf file that have the codes for the standard receiver that I can use? I have sucessfully programed my remote for the HD after many hours of frustration but using and existing pcf file.
