Marantz and Harmon Kardon have given me problems in the past...I don't have a lot of Sherwood experience, but the units that I have controlled have discrete on by way of an input selection (will turn on to that input if off) and discrete off by way of an input selection followed by POWER.

I do a lot of HK's and I have no problems. I did a swap of a NAD and the remote had an on and off button. Which does not real mean a whole lot but if it helps great. But does it matter. If you wanna tell the reason why it is important to you maybe I can come up with a work around it that might help.

Marantz are all I use now as full discrete codes are available for every function.

Give 'em a try, you'll be not be disappointed!
Sticking to what I'm good at.

Would you happen to have the on/off discrete codes for an SR4600?

Thanks

Hex code, but I actually found them late last night. I downloaded the complete system set up for a 6400 and the on/off discrete worked for my 4600!! Thanks anyway.
