Does anyone have the discrete codes for a Kenwood VR-8070 Receiver for On and Off?
Thanks

This is what Kenwood's official response is: ^^^ Thank you for writing to us at Kenwood USA Corporation. You will need to "learn" the IR functions that you desire off of the original VR-8070 remote to the new remote. We do not have the specific IR frequencies of the "on" and "off" functions available. If you have any further questions or need help with anything, please feel free to contact us again. ^^^
Maybe they don't know that their remote doesn't have a separate ON and OFF button. If the company that manufactured my receiver doesn’t have the answer or doesn’t want to look it up, who will know?

As far as I know only the Sovereign line has discrete codes. I have a VR6070 and it doesn't have discrete on off codes.
