Are there any discrete on/off codes (hex or efc) for Samsung VCR/DVD combos, specifically the DVD-V2000? I have searched on this forum ad nauseum but have not found a good answer. There may be macro-based workarounds, but I'm wondering if these units support discrete on/off codes.

Does it matter whether the unit is in VCR mode or in DVD mode when it is shut off?
