The Motorola DCT 6204 has a macro to make it go to on. Has anyone found a Motorola DCT2500 macro to on?

Nope!, There is not, and probably won't ever be, a discrete code for these Moto Boxes. A shame, becuase the it's a really good STB. I know of no secret buttons or macros to turn it on.
However, I just never turn mine off. Yuo don't need to. It's always running anyway, unless it's unplugged--and "turning it off" really only shuts off the video out, and mutes the audio out (Which, actually causes a bug-- If the box is recording while "off", if you turn it on, the audio stays mute!--and unless the remove's volume is controlling the box's volume control (not the TV's), you can't un-mute it.)
