Hi Guys, Pretty new to all this? I have a Sanyo PLV-Z3 projector remote that I am looking for the overall remote code so I program another remote with all of its functions: Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking for. If it is a three or four digit setup code for a universal remote, those if they exist would be brand specific.

I actually may not know what I am talking about. pretty new at this. I am simply trying to find the 4 digit code that you would need to incorporate the sanyo plv-z3 remote into a universal remote as another device like I did with my dvd, e tc....?Thanks Tim

Tim,

I doubt it since they are pretty specialized. What universal remote are you programming? The least expensive solution is a JP1/OFA remote and they use a four digit code but there aren't any built-in codes for Sanyo projectors.

IIRC, there is a device upgrade for the PLV-Z2 in thte files. If the Z3 and Z2 use the same command set and that is likely, then it's pretty simple to upload the upgrade and you are all set. More information here:
