Hi,
Does anyone have discrete codes for the Yamaha DRX-2 MKII DVD recorder? The DRX-1 recorder might also work.

Thanks,
Ingo

Ask the dealer you bought it from. Yamaha provided this info to dealers (at least for the 2004 product) on a CD that had all kinds of stuff on it. I believe it was a training and reference CD.
Why all the fighting and cussing? Can't Dave play nice? We're just here to learn and have fun. It was a harmless jab, laugh and get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW... S-E-A-R-C-H!!!
or do the work!!!

The dealer is unaware of such a CD, if anyone has knowledge of the IR Codes for this DVD Recorder then please let me know. I learned all the other codes from the original RC but the discrete On & Off still eludes me.

BTW. Here is an example of the Power button. If it looks familiar maybe I can look for another vendor's codes. Possibly Philips...

As you guessed, that does match the power toggle command for a Philips DVD recorder.

I haven't looked to see if any of the CCF files for Philips DVD recorders include discrete power commands.

I had a look in the files section and found a few CCF and one PCF file. All the codes there are power toggle codes. It seems all the Philips guys might have a similar problem.

I got it!! After searching some Philips codes I came across a post by jarmstrong, his post provided some DVR codes and untested power codes. The power-on and power-off works 100% on my Yamaha DRX-2. Thanks to johnsfine and jarmstrong.

Hi dejageif
I have tried to follow this thread discussion and cannot create the code. Could you post the discrete On/Off codes please. I am using a Harmony remote so Hex or Pronto etc format would be great
