Does ANYONE have the Discrete codes for Onkyo HTS-760 (Home Theater in a Box) or the Onkyo TX-SR501(same reciever that came with the HTS?
I looked at all of the files here and found a file for the MX-700 that runs the TX-SR500(mine is 501)...Will that work for me? I don't know all the "ins and outs" of the codes, so wasn't sure if I should try the 500 codes against my 501???

Thanks VERY much in advance!!!

I have a HT-R510 and was able to find the discreet codes for the video modes and the power by trying most of the codes for Onkyo receivers in the IR DB. The one I used had more video modes them my receiver, so I just removed the extra buttons and used the learn feature to get the couple that were not included. The only strange part was the ON button was not discreet. In that case I made sure I used the discreet OFF before turning it on that way my macros were reliable. You will also probably want to wait until you turn on you other components before switching the video mode that way you can avoid having to put in an extra delay after you turn the receiver on. Hope that helps!

Thanks wkey!
Basically I was looking for more of the reciever buttons...For some reason they don't have the "tuning" up and done buttons on the remote, but there are buttons on the actual reveiver for tuning. I found that very strange. So I figured if those functions are not on the remote, what other ones am I missing. Figured somebody might have a list of every function for the receiver.

Thanks though for your input!!!

If you are still looking for Onkyo receiver codes you may be able to use the learned codes from my Onkyo TX-NR801E. The channel up/down buttons select the previous/next preset station. See [Link: remotecentral.com]. There is a direct tuning code:
0000 006d 0022 0002 0156 00ab 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0676 0156 0055 0015 0e47
which sets some receivers to then receive the frequency as five digits such as 01080 for 108.0 MHz, but I haven't yet found digit codes which work for my receiver. If you have digit codes, please let me know.
