Has no bids, so I can get it for $2.00.

I'm thinking I could use this to supply the power to a passive subwoofer that's sitting in the shop.

Lot's of other kind of interesting things as well, and most have no bids at all.

Evidently the auction company specializes in furniture, rugs, china, etc, and doesn’t know where to advertise electronics.  Or in this case they have read the reviews.

To me this seems a bit wimpy for subwoofer duty, but I guess if you don’t need to drive too far or ship the unit … .

I went to an estate sale a few years ago and was looking for a way to provide 12V trigger for Niles muting volume controls and when I reached the room where the AV stuff had been installed, I liiked into the cabinet to see what was behind the main equipment- saw a Niles power triggered piece that has a 120V outlet, which I used for a wall wart.

New, that would have probably been the most expensive 12V trigger available without using something like a Lutron outlet and base, but that would have required user interface- they don't need to do anything for the Niles to do what I needed.

Lately, a lot of the sales I have gone to were run by people who DO look for values online and the prices reflect it, so I often go back near the end, when they offer better discounts.
