I bought some of these after seeing them on one of the sites: [Link: amazon.com] My finding is that they may be great for aone time use, they cannot be used again and again. Installing was fine, but when removing then to swap things out, they break apart, leaving the banana in the AVR terminal, and the capture piece on the speaker wire. Whatever is supposed to hold the pieces together doesn't. A good idea gone bad in my opinion.

They certainly are priced right at $11.99 for 5-pair! I wonder about the resistance from speaker wire to banana jack and how this holds up over time.

Looks like a cheap knock-off of Speaker Snap's connector. Which work great BTW.

I am perplexed by the stainless steel connection for the speaker wire. They already have gold plated brass for the "banana" side. Very odd that they would change metals like that. KOT

Can you do a review on one of those b-connectors for wires? Beanies? Never used them for speaker wire, and I'm not sure if they make them for anything above 18 gauge wire. I used the silicone filled ones in alarm work a lot, and they never failed. Above 18 gauge the old way was to use wire nuts, again silicone filled to prevent corrosion but, the new WAGO connectors which I haven't used with speaker wire, but think they should work great for that.

Looks like a cheap knock-off of Speaker Snap's connector. Which work great BTW. Ditto. SpeakerSnap sells for more like you'd expect them to sell for. TIP: If you can't pronounce the name of the manufacturer, set your expectations very low. Also very reliable and reusable are the MediaBridge or Sewell bananas: [Link: amazon.com]

Also very reliable and reusable are the Sewell bananas Yeah, those look like they would work well, and they are not priced out of sight either. I'll order a set.

We switched to the Sewell banana plugs years ago after Monster and Russound stopped making them.
