It was a shock to all of us here at Remote Central! Suddenly the website was pulled off the internet. If you read Daniel’s summary of events, you will understand what happened. What he doesn’t describe are the long hours that he spent trying to get it up and working again, and then to check over the entire site to correct problems that occurred when it was uploaded to a new provider. Actually, he is still working on making adjustments.
Now it’s your turn! We need your help.
1. We’ve been back a few weeks and we need you to spread the word that Remote Central is alive to anyone who previously was a participant, and anyone who may have a need of Remote Central. We have to get our numbers back up again.
2. Contact your suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers, and tell them that they should be supporting Remote Central, either with a donation, sponsoring of part or the whole of Remote Central, or to purchase banner advertisements. There are a lot of expenses involved in running a website as Remote Central, and we need the continuous financial support to ensure that it can stay available for you during the foreseeable future.
