Saw this on Amazon, so it's more likely than not a Chinese product. But, is it any good? I need to split the Tivo output between the Living Room and Bedroom. Think I'll use a simple 1x2 HDMI spitter with a couple of these cables. What y'all think?

Go with a pro brand like RocketFish. You mean "A Best Buy brand", right?

I've used a lot of these from Amazon and they work. In most cases it beats using and HDMI/Cat extender. I have a feeling they come from the same factories that "Pro" cables come from. There were a couple of times they went bad when I pulled them too hard through a long conduit. I thought I was taking a risk running these in a restaurant to 20 TVs. All run across an open ceiling so easily replaceable. Various lengths up to 150ft and no more than $120 each. Still working after 5 years with 4K signal.

Pure bi-directional fiber or hybrid fiber/copper (which all the cheaper ones are)? I have a low quality 25' hybrid "Ablain" I use personally, just fine for Dolby Vision 4k, but I recently realized it's completely unstable for eARC in the reverse path and will need to be replaced. I have a mid-quality 50' hybrid "RUIPRO" I use with a 4K projector, and it's been absolutely fine for that... but the projector doesn't even support ARC so I have no idea how good the return path is.

Do they indicate if it's bidirectional fibre or hybrid?

For my needs there is no need for ARC, so I gather by the comments, it will work just fine. With the new (o;d) house, being small (1750SF), no run will be all the long either, and access from under is pretty good. I get off my sorry butt, I'm going to get some of these and get this house the way I want it (meaning the way the bride wants it)..
