My $.02 on the matter about DSP settings and using the manufacturers recommended amp for their in-wall subwoofers is; I have put in several DefTech in-wall subs, and have found that the only amp that makes them sound right is their own. Anything else I've tried just doesn't work out right or provide the oomph.

I'll be talking with the regional manager for KEF this week- their online specs are lacking, so I'll be getting more details on the sub and the Kasa500 amplifier.

I'll post what I find.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

I'm ordering a KASA in and I'm going to slap it in that job. I'll post what happens. I'm sure that it will work fine. We haven't used these before and that 2 ohm reading threw me off.

Thanks again

Yeah, the amp specs can say almost anything, but in a low Z application, I want an amplifier that I could use for welding. :)
