I have a new appleTV 4 that works almost perfectly - it won't wake up all the time.
The power light is steady on - the TV is on the correct input and ive tried att the yamaha and sony tv settings i can think of its only upon wakeup.
i also have another client same issue with just apple tv running into tv.
any ideas is the new tvOS 16 the problem

Turn Sleep Off. I also turn off screen saver. I do this for every install and it helped a lot with the wake up issue.
