Seems like it might be as easy as going into software, removing existing device and adding a new one in? I'm guessing I need credentials for app?

It's been couple of years since I've touched RadioRa2 so I'm a little rusty. This is a job I'm doing for an electrician. He says the current one is not working. Customer can't connect with her phone. Maybe it's just a network issue. Thanks for any advice

I would look for network problems first. See if it is lit up, use Fing to see if it is on the network, power cycle it… Make sure it is on the same network as the Wi-Fi, all the things that you commonly check when an app does not connect.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Thinking about it, I don't think I have ever seen a RA2 controller fail before. Unless it got hit by lighting, abused (submerged in water), etc... I would do as Tom said and check everything with the network.

Is everything in the system working except the app? That might be a clear sign it is NOT the hub!

Those Connect Bridges along with most Lutron processors can be very picky with networks. Obviously you've tried a reboot? What type of network is there? If its RA2 and you needed to swap it you would have to have the Inclusive program to activate the new one.

Make sure they have the correct App.  Lutron had the Home app, Lutron Connect and Lutron app.  I can't remember if the old app tells you that you need the newer app or not.  It depends on what version of the software is running as to which app is required

Had both processors and bridges fail. For the bridge, you have to log into the customers home on the app and remove the bridge from the system first. Do not just unplug the old one and add a new one. It will mess up the customers home(s) and their account.
