Client says used to turn on and display picture right away, but now takes 20+ sec for Android boot-up.

Is there some quick start feature? None found in menu.

I suspect that the TV was never OFF, just dark. Now, for some reason, the TV is OFF. As I recall there is a power saving option. Turning this OFF results in faster starts and allows IP control.

Make sure power saving is off and Simple IP control is on. Simple IP control is under network.

We started seeing this with Sony TVs hooked up to Sonos products via ARC. This fixed our last one:

Turning on IP Simple Control

- Open Settings
- Go to Network and Internet
- Go to Home network
- Go to IP control
- Go to Simple IP control
- Toggle On
See our Youtube page for info about smart homes, great audio and more.

Those options will make sure the network stays active when the tv is "off"

the TV should never give you an android boot screen unless its been unplugged or restarted.
