Hi, all A-Bus certified equipment can easily be swapped out with the new A-Bus Forte Modules and Keypads. The new Keypads have provision to add an additional power supply that results in even better sound with a lot more power.

A_Bus certainly is alive and kicking with new Amplified Keypads using digital amplification and dual power inputs. You will find these online under Forte by A-Bus.

Keypads are home run to a Hub, wich is where teh main source is connected. Of course you could add local input modules like the A-Bus Forte AB70 or even a Bluetooth module like the BT20. These cna be local sources for each room or amplifier module

Someone taught you well. This was always our standard that ensures you won't be backed into corner when someting goes wrong. You could even use the 16/4 as a power boost for new A-Bus Forte Amplified Keypads. The new models have a lot more power than the original keypads.
