So I have a simple install, three sources (BR, Apple TV, 4K Genie C61k-700) via Yamaha Aventage AVR RX-A2060 (2016) to Sony TV 75XBR850D (2016). Sources and AVR is in rack with HDBT (Atlona's latest) to TV.

Apple TV, BR work fine. DirecTV works most of the time except sometimes when the client turns on the system there is audio but no picture.

Client reports snowy picture. Obviously a HDMI issue. Also reports that re-selecting the HDMI input on the TV a few times fixes the issue.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have already tried replacing HDMI cable 4K Genie-->AVR.

Call Brent McCall at Ethereal...He can probably figure out the culprit by phone.

Add a 1x2 HDMI splitter out of the DTV box.
