Its all great. But internet prices will rise. Somehow the cost of maintaining the plant and delivery plus profits will need to covered.

Wonder if he cleared his device with Kodi?

“If you see somebody selling a box that’s ‘fully loaded’ or comes with the phrase ‘Free movies and TV with Kodi,’ please, ask them to stop. And let us know. It’s OK to sell a vanilla Kodi box. It’s OK to sell a fully loaded box that doesn’t have Kodi installed or fully rebrands Kodi to something else entirely. It is not OK to sell a fully loaded Kodi box,”

?? Do tell.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

using it as a pirated movie (tv shows too) server/streamer

It's funny too.. right in one of the images in the CEPro article it shows exodus as one of the apps listed on his videos tab. Exodus is used primarily to stream pirated movies.

I gotta admit that is a pretty UI on that box.

kodi is so much prettier then plex with the confluence skin.

Maybe, but Plex handles all the backend stuff and you dont have to spend 50 hours a week in some forum farting around with it.

I agree with you there. For those not in the know and curious heres a quick comparison of kodi and plex. Each has their pros and cons.

I feel fortunate that I have not immersed myself in working out the details of how to use kodi or some other such tool to steal money by not paying copyright holders. It cannot be good for one's soul or one's personality to practice details of thievery methods on a daily basis.

The best response to this kind of stuff came from one of my higher-end clients some ten years ago. The sales guy brought the client to us and supposedly knew him. I'll call the sales guy "Slick" because it suited him so well. Slick said to the client "...and I can get you a pirate card so you can see all the games and get all the porn."

The client, an actor/comic in his late twenties, said, "We don't need that, Slick. This is a Christian household."
