I was wondering how I am able to enter hex codes in the mx900 editor, since I am unable to find a preset code in the database that works.

Tools -> Universal Browser -> Hex:

Paste Hex code in window, click and hold on drag button and drag to the button on the remote you wish to place the code.

Exactly how old is your MX900 Editor? Because the standalone editor does have the hex entry window via a little HEX button that should be to the right of the OPEN button in your Universal Browser.

Anyways, worse case scenario: download ProntoEdit v4 from this site (for the original Prontos). Create a simple file with a few on-screen buttons, add a command to those buttons, and paste your hex into that. Save as a CCF file. Then import that CCF file via the Universal Browser.

ProntoEdit is a big help.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
