It's time for a new PC. I'm looking at laptops with touchscreen capability and wondering if it's of any benefit. That leads me to wonder if a convertible PC is the way to go.

Does anyone use a touchscreen or a convertible PC for day to day use? Love it? hate it?

While in the office, I plug the computer into a monitor via HDMI and us a keyboard and mouse. In the filed I'm programming URC, Lutron Radio RA2, doing some sketchup work, setting up cameras, networks etc.

Thoughts? Insights? Rants?

Thanks in advance.

My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

I use the Lenovo 3 Pro for the last year and a half. I love it, best laptop I have owned and that is quite a few. Once you start using the touchscreen
it is tough to go back. I use the convertible part of it occasionally and it is handy when I do use it but my day to day stuff I just use it in laptop mode.
