Looking for a small-ish white TV that is extra bright without blowing out the colors and has better clarity than the Samsung the client has (picture looks like crap and isn't very bright). I have seen an LG, Vizio, Seiki and some others, but I'd like some other input. They have internet on the boat, so a Smart TV would be a good option and feeding an ethernet cable isn't a problem but daytime viewing is almost impossible, even with the bimini up. None of the outdoor TV brands sells anything in a smaller size- the existing one is 24" and that's a good size but I wouldn't rule out a 32".

This TV is in the cockpit not in the cabin, mounted on the radar arch.

Thanks.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

Tough one.
Any regular TV is going to be unwatchable, due to competing light on a boat. Even on a cloudy day, the amount of ambient light (and all the white surfaces reflecting) will render a regular TV useless.

So to be happy, it WILL require one of those expensive outdoor TVs. But, you need to look at the specs.
Example: SunBrite does make a 32" in white (2 versions). But the light output of the cheap one ($1500 MSRP) isn't much more than a regular TV. The Pro model only puts out 450 NITS (@$3000 MSRP). The larger models put out 700 NITS.

SkyVue has some 32" models in white. Including a model that has 1000 NITS on the light output for the same price as the SunBrite ($3000 MSRP).
