​ The annual CE Week TV Shootout has arrived and this year we (Metra Home Theater / Ethereal) were asked to provide the HDMI cables for the testing.
All of the Major 4K TV brands will have on site at the Altman Building in New York their very best displays, each will be calibrated by Joel Silver and his ISF team, after which they will be tested in front of a public audience. The sources will be HDMI 2.0a signal generators and the new Panasonic DMP-UB900 4K BD Player. Since this is a full 18 Gbps Bandwidth test and the organizers (Value Electronics) did not want to take a chance with the cables producing any failures, they turned to us to provide them with our Velox HDMI cables. I will be there to answer any connectivity questions and will have our 17 Meter MHX Passive HDMI cable and our GA1 Gigabit accelerator with me for some after hours testing.

I'm not worried about your cables. I'd like to see these guys setup a home theater system with off the shelf components and sources that we deal with daily.
