So I pulled the trigger and joined the Red team.

Based on a strong recommendation, I'm going to do my training in Charlotte.

Right now, there is a class with 2 seats left on July 11th.
If I can't sign up for that one, the next one is July 25th, with the one following that on Aug. 15th.

I would love to go to class with someone I know from here. Anyone here going to training during any of those dates?

I agree. Not sure why the push to travel across country to Charlotte especially since SLC is the headquarters.

The trainer in Charlotte is amazing, the best I have ever had. Jacob knows the product inside and out and prides himself on not a single person failing his class. He's hands on and entertaining. Talking to other guys who have done Slc and Chicago it sounds like it can be a miserable week.

Also Charlotte has a lot more around it, and it's within walking distance of the hotel. Others have said your stuck Renting a car/uber around at the other locations just to get to the training. Not saying you won't have to, one night we took a taxi to the mall with a few guys from training, another night we went and grabbed Mexican food at a place that is by far some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Hotel has a shuttle that will take you around!

I cannot recommend Jacob and Charlotte enough!!

ABQ to CLT: [Link: google.com]
5 hours and 33 minutes

ABQ to SLC: [Link: google.com]
Between 3 and 5 hours

Cost for airlines is comparable.

I rather spend extra 3-5 hours (round trip) on the plane than 30-35 hours in a boring classroom.

Add to that the fact that hotels and food is closer -- negating the need to uber -- and the decision is simple.
