URC question. Can you take the RF antenna off of the Mrf 350 and use the ir ports on a snap AV balun to relocate the antenna behind the tv.

i believe the answer is no. The antenna requires power. The IR in ports in the HDMI extenders (Balun is incorrect and Ernie's head will explode) have power for IR receivers, but I'm pretty sure the power comes from the extender itself. And it will be 12v, while I think the antenna is 9v.

plus the signal coming from the 'powered' antenna is an RF frequency, not IR. And will likely not pass thru the IR port of an extender.
