Does anyone have HDR working on this unit? We are attempting w/ a KScape Stratos and Samsung 4K BD w/ no luck.

edit - just learned Samsung is working on firmware for the BD to resolve some related problem...

What are you using to connect the source to the sink?

I've had it working with those exact sources. Only cable that worked to get proper signal between the two was a Ethereal Velox cable. NOTHING else worked.

Make sure you are going straight to projector. If not, your receiver is probably another weak link.

We tried a handful of cables we had in stock: Snap, an Ethereal (not sure of model), etc w/out success. Direct and passing through a Marantz AV8802A. No luck. The normal run from rack to proj is ~30 feet, so we may be out of luck until the Fiber-based-HDMI KScape says they've tested with (cables are beta product still) come available.

To be fair, we tested w/ shortest cables on the Samsung BD before learning of firmware issues, and didn't feel like de-racking the Stratos after that.

You haven't tried a Ethereal Velox cable. I guarantee it works. I went 50 feet with those EXACT sources and display. Both direct and through an Integra 60.7

It's not cheap, but I promise you it works. They claim the gigabit accelerator with a regular ethereal MHX cable works but I can't vouch for it.

I don't know where you are located to tell you where to get it, but maybe Brent with ethereal can.

There are only two cables in existence that are actually 18gbps at that distance and the Velox is the cheaper of the two. Snap aren't even close, bless their hearts.

Make sure the interconnects are 18gbps also. A lot more at 1-2 meters. Check DPL labs certifications for tested cables
