I could really enjoy an electric bike if it was faster than my 130 hp Harley or 550 hp 'Vette.

Hmmmm.........I just need to get a motor and battery pack from Tesla, build a frame that would handle the torque without causing a wreck when you twisted the throttle, and life would be good!

This could be really fun!

Now you got me thinking......Thanks!

Waitaminnit.

Were they washed or were they put to sea?

Hmmm, Maybe washed up nice and clean, THEN put out to sea?

He obviously loves the attention and drama as much as Bruce. I think he has a secret crush on him as well. It would explain of lot of the posts between the 2 of them. If the behavior was ignored it would eventually go away, but its not...

I now run the Florida operations of an electric vehicle manufacturer ... How my life has changed since I left the AV world.

I never knew I would enjoy international business so much.

I also helped start a robotics manufacturing company and helped a start up nanotechnology company

Great news, Ed. Which vehicles?

No one cares

Were your parents abusive, or just drunks like you - or both? Just wondering.

The fastest motorcycles out there are electric. One, the KillaCycle can hit 60 MPH in under one second! Google 10 fastest electric motorcycles. It's pretty interesting, and the sensation of going that fast (and smooth) without noise is pretty amazing.

It's the future as battery technology advances.

The Lightning LS-218 will smoke any gas pig noisey smelly internal combustion bike. 200 HP --- but more importantly, - MASSIVE torque.

Just use a starter from an older truck, a switch & relay and a car battery on a cycle frame. If it's direct drive, you won't even need brakes.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

Harley plans to have an electric bike by 2020. They have an experimental bike that toured the US in 2014 and I think Europe in 2015. They called it Livewire. But it's strange as hell to see any bike with a Harley logo and not have the standard 45 degree v-twin Whop whop sound.

What the heck kind of Harley are you riding?? Even the v-rod only puts down around 95 horse at the wheels...

It's far from stock but very reliable.
1997 Road king that I've had since new.

It's an Evo with bigger jugs, stroked, higher compression pistons, head work, cams ground to my specs, and some tender loving tuning.

I built the motor and mapped the fuel injection/ignition curve.

It's a rocket on 92 pump gas yet docile enough for two up touring.
Most of it's 45,000 miles since I built it have been spent touring the US with the wife on board.

I new it felt pretty quick for an 850lb bike(1250 loaded for a road trip) so I had it dynoed. The power curve is impressive.
Lots of torque down low followed by a huge rush of HP around 5500 to 8200 rpm

As it stands,it will smoke the 103 screamin eagle.

I'm an engineer and motorhead at heart. I just do A/V work because it's easier!!

Not for public consumption... But let's just say everything from material movers , golf carts and automobiles... Some are oem some are our own products
Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

That would take some adjustment but I'm open to change.
After driving my sisters Tesla from Denver,CO to Salina,KS,I have to say I'm impressed with the power and handling.
It's only shortcoming is that you have to stop every 200 miles for a re charge and it takes around an hour!

Reminds me of a Harley road trip!

Still injected? What software do you use for data acquisition and programming?
