I'm trying to control a Bell Fibe VIP 5662W (Quebec market. It's a IP 4K PVR. - Probably a Arris VIP56XX IP) with IR.

The remote that comes with the box is bluetooth.

Control system is RTI.
Tried TV provider. No luck. I'm so susprised!

Does this box receive IR codes? On the manufacture's spec sheet is says the following: Remote control support IR 36 kHz, optional BLE.

Tried equivalent IR remote. - No luck

Or does a IR to BT device exist?

Maybe try the FLIRC?

I assume that you went through the menu to see if there's an area for IR? As it maybe disabled from the factory with BT option installed.

You didn't mention which code set you are trying to use.

The first time I programmed a Fibe box into the Pro24r the factory Procontrol codes (which is RTI) didn't work. They emailed me a special code set.

I presume (hopefully correctly) that it will work with your RTI remote, which it should as the RTI mega list works on Procontrol as long as your box is controllable with IR.

Yes, went threw the menus... didn't find that option

I have that code set. It works perfet on Fibe boxes but not on the new 4K unit.
