Heres a new one.
From time to time this TV will NOT turn off. Not from remote Not from power button
Have to pull the plug?
Then it cames back and works correctly. Well atleast for awhile.
Bad power board?

What happens if the inputs are disconnected when it won't turn off? If no inputs are connected, will it then turn off? Or do you still have to pull the power plug.
Have you tried to reinstall a software update?
I know you mentioned that it won't turn off via the power button. But have you tried to cover the IR sensor then tried the power button? Thinking here is that IR is being blasted and the TV is over whelmed and don't know that it's being told to turn off, via remote or power button. (wow, that sounds familiar...lol)

I think KOT has got it, but just in case, is HDMI control turned off on both sources AND the TV?
