I have a client with this old projector in his system. He is not looking to update his system unfortunately. It would be a lot easier to work on for sure. The projector made a strange noise, which he likened to a static on a phone, and then the red light came on saying replace bulb, or something to that affect. I see third party bulbs online, but never recommend that client uses them. Does anyone know of a good source (or any for that matter) to get an OEM bulb for this projector?

Have you tried calling Runco? or Planar?

I've emailed both, have not called. Was put on hold and I just went and emailed them for now. Figured I'd check here if anyone knows of a place that sells OEM bulbs for them.

Planar responded and said they no longer carry lamps for the Vision Model 30.

Just Lamps has never had bulbs for Runco. But I have used them for others like Sharp.
