Why don't we have individual outlet control? I have a rack in an adjacent closet and the fans are too loud. Thought I would just program C4 for when the preamp/amp kick on the fan (outlet 8) would come on then remain on for 20 minutes.

I have it programmed for schedules to shut off non essential equipment at night to keep the power vampires at bay so obviously you can do this...

Just shocked that we can toggle an outlet from a control system but can't program it to actually shut on and off something.

I have several jobs with Fan control on a single outlet. We used RTI on those jobs.

Probably meaning for 20 minutes after everything else has been shut off?

Think of thermostat control instead.
When the system is cold, there's no fan startup and run noise when you turn on the system
When the system gets warm, the fans come on but there's probably enough sound from the system to mask the fan noise.
When the system goes off, the thermostats keep the noisy fans on until the area is cool -- but who cares about some fan noise when you've stopped using the system?

Not quite following this. Oh, you mean there's a toggle command but not discrete on and off? Wait. That doesn't make sense either.
??
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Brendon, you mean that C4 doesn't do what you want or the OVRC interface?

Total Control module allows.for individual outlet control via two way module or individual commands that can be entered into a macro.

Done this with RTI and Crestron, not sure what C4 allows you to do with wattbox but I can set it up today and find out.

Setup
Generic Relay bound to outlet 8 of wattbox
Timer 'Cool Down' 20 minutes long

Programming
Amp turns on - Relay 8 On
Amp turns off - restart timer 'Cool Down'
Timer 'Cool Down' expires - Relay 8 Off
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.

What Rob said.

You have to bind a generic relay to whichever outlet(s) you want to control (in the Connections tab). Then you do your programming on that relay, not on the Wattbox driver itself.
