Ain't it amazing how spoiled we've gotten that we want internet even on a metal tube that's thrown through the air at 300mph?

I know that because it's a radio frequency it requires FAA approval.

...and after reading those links you should come away with one thing: this is out of your realm. Who owns a private jet but isn't setup with an aircraft MRO and asks his home AV guy for advice? It's not like you can just roll your install van into the hangar and go to town on it.

How hard can it be? Call one, talk to sales, go from ther. Might not hurt to to look for an avionics electronics boutique as a backup.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

I was only doing some legwork. I have done some incredible sound systems in jets, but I gave that up 15 years ago.

Duncan is a good resource.

Last I heard viaSat had the best system, however, I wouldn't expect too much from any of these in terms of bandwidth. Also, international flight is much more difficult.

As I'm sure you are aware, the hardware has to be certified (huge expense) and the install has to be by licensed techs and inspected.
