Take something .3 inch in diameter and make it go where you want, 2700 yards away

Where is the like button?
What part of "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you not understand?

It may only be 1,000 yards... But who cares, the shooter though. :-) The first shooter that is.

Do it without the tripod, then I'll be impressed.

I hope you are joking. A bipod (only two legs) doesn't stop all movement. It helps stabilize you, but your own breathing still makes the reticle rise and fall and sway. To hit his mark at 2700 yards, he had to control his breathing and slow his heart rate.

I am impressed.

Long range precision shooting is something I would love to get into. But it is not cheap to get into.
The ~3 hour drive to be able to do it safely and legally also kind of prevents me from doing it.

Not to mention have a solid grasp of how wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure affect that specific caliber of bullet at that distance...lets not forget that....that is no "redneck with a pee shooter"...for those less educated. That takes practice and knowledge to get to that level of ability...that's my 02 cents

Yes, it is very impressive to do that with a projectile designed to do exactly that because it's made for the purpose. But you propose "Take something," leaving the actual thing totally open to choice and imagination.

So impress me. Take a jelly bean that size and make it go where you want, 2,700 yards away. Or a big polliwog. A wet cotton ball. Whatever type of fresh pasta might be .3 inch in diameter.

I can do that with any of those things. Can you?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie, are you this much of a literal douche bag in real life? Or do you just do it here because you think it's funny? You have become the joke of this forum. You've driven most to the point they skip your posts entirely and use your name as an insult when someone is being a pompous ass.

It will be if you aren't familiar with any of what's actually going on to make that shot

I know its incredibly difficult. So is hitting a 96 mph slider. Doesn't mean either is fun to watch (for me)

It's not my fault if you are incapable of recognizing a highly refaimed skill. I apologize that your father failed in teaching you how to be a man.
