For the record---I co-founded Madrona Digital about 5 years ago. I left there about a year and a half ago. I got tired of commuting 3 to 4 hours daily. Traffic in our area is unreal. My commute was only 17 miles  each way, but the commute took a big part of the day out of my life. Bumper to bumper each way. Life is too short for that, and I did not want to move to the Eastside from Seattle.

Ann is my CURRENT boss, at a company in Seattle, (Speakerlab). Ann, is the owner. I worked with her years ago,  and the commute is quite short, and speakers have always been my passion.

I had worked at Speakerlab back in the 70's and 80's,, managing a couple of stores for them.  I went back to work for them 1.5 years ago, as I enjoyed my time there back in the day.

I think that much of the recent flare up regarding the incident with Mr. Stanley’s brother stems back to his mention of a Facebook posting that didn’t seem to exist, and was never corrected.

Well, the posting does exist... and here’s a screenshot I took myself (and am posting with Mr. Stanley’s permission). It was posted over a day prior to his mention of it on RC. True, everything could have been handled far better, however... in my mind I think its existence should be enough to settle the matter. No one else would be expected to provide more proof than that – or indeed, any proof at all.

Actually the 12th is a day after he mentioned it on RC. I don't think i would post something like this at remotecentral before posting at facebook but either way...had he just responded to any of the people who attempted to directly communicate with him vs just posting random stories for 2 more days and then when he finally did respond to them he called them M-Fers.

His post on the 11th...then his follow up days later.




I made 2 comments between those two dates and somehow got lumped into his call out thread. So either Bruce posted the next day on facebook to cover his tracks or he posted here first then facebook while ignoring everyone here who responded to his post on the 11th. Either way...he could have put an end to this before it even began by responding to any of the 3 people who directly responded to him.

I just meant his Facebook post is a day prior of his mention here that there was a Facebook post.

We do not know his family relationships, but I have family I speak to so rarely, that it would take some time between me worrying about them, and actually calling out the cavalry. I might mention that something's going on to "anonymous" friends before mentioning it to real-life friends.

Regardless, no question this could have been handled far better, but Mr. Stanley is not alone in handling things poorly. I think everyone involved needs to take a breather and contemplate what's important in life... and I don't think arguing this to death is it.

I was content with leaving this alone until the @sshat sent me another rude private message. If you look at the time stamp on his facebook post you will see that its minutes after my comment in the original thread.


What happened is Bruce got tired of not being able to respond so he created the facebook post so he could point back to it and say "see...you were all wrong".

His childish tone in the private message i posted illustrates that this is all a game to him.

only after I made the first genuine post about concern and using SM to help you completely ignored it, Then the following day I started hounding you about where your brother was and why you didnt post any info, then magically you put on FB about this after a few of us started getting to you and you must of had an O shit momment.

I would have had half a mind to believe daniel and your FB post but you said yesterday that he had a debilitating stroke and he was home resting...which is total total BS unless your beloved obamacare threw him out on the streets? still he wouldnt be home resting one way or the other.

Out of respect to Daniel and this site I will go back to my normal posting. But I will not deal with your BS stories and will call you out on them every time. So i would do yourself a favor, seek treatment for your issues-stop posting here or if you do decide to "come back" (so much for leaving huh) that you provide proof every time you feel the need to post some attention getting story and become a valuable member again here, again you dont do much to help others out here at all, except stir the pot.

He called me out in his thread too, and I didn't partake in all the bs at all. I posted ONE link to a YouTube video simply cause is stated the person singing was called Mr. Stanley. For that I get called a prick.

For what it's worth, I don't think all the back and forth bs does anyone any good and serves no purpose. I don't care what goes on his personal life, but actually hope he was fibbing with this stroke story. Strokes are scary business and something that really freaks me out. I'd rather have him lie about it then actually have someone have to go through the pain and suffering that follows a stroke.

Anyway, him calling me out when I didn't attack him in any way either show his character or simply that he knows I get along with the guys who are giving him a hard time.

That makes sense. He was probably worried about 3Pedal asking him for evidence of a facebook post hours earlier.
