If given the opportunity, I would have smack around a majority of the idiots of the occupy wallstreet fools. Most had NO idea what the movement was about and were simply young fools looking for an identity and rebellion. Ah to be young and dumb,,,,

Ernie is right. Best country in the world. Period. No need to defend or refute that. No need to add any BUTs or WHAT IFs. Things are tough all over. Get over it and live your life. I cannot stand people...blow hards...who are going on 24/7 about politics and trying to be the one who speaks their opinions the loudest. You are not going to convert anyone. We understand you are passionate about what you think. Be passionate about it without being douchey. It gets old real quick.
With that being said. Bring this thread to CEDIA, drink a bit, and I will hold the video camera. :)

Its sad to see there is still so much bigotry, anger, racism, ignorance and seperation.
I bitch about it all the time to my friend in Curitiba how tough things are here, and the politicians... she says, (and she is pretty hip politically when it comes to the U.S.) --- she says its bad all over... Corruption... They have multiple political parties down there. The police are the criminals (for the most part) It is very complicated compared to the U.S. . She still loves America, despite the problems an BS we face. She became a citizen 3 years ago, and cannot wait to get back --- which makes me think --- yeah, I guess it COULD be worse.
Things can change...
It usually comes down to the almighty dollar. Money is power, and power breeds corruption. Same here as in any other country for the most part.
I'm just glad my kid is grown up, as this is going to be a tough world to grow up in...The problems the next couple generations will have to deal with...
The American dream is dying... the middle class is circling the drain...
We've battled over oil, and I imagine water will be next... Anyways back to work.
