To do a Dolby Atmos system within the Sonance product line, the only option is in-ceiling.
Best performance would be the VP Cinema SUR1S.
Unfortunately, there is no way to meet the Atmos parameters with an in-wall speaker.

So you would not recommend doing 9.2 with front wides? If I did 7.1, with the SUR15's in the ceiling, it would be good? Nice to see Sonance on here? I really can't say enough nice things about your speakers and company....you guys rock!!

Its not being suggested to not do 9.2. Thats what front wides are for. The point is it will NOT be Dolby Atmos. Atmos is not designed for in walls regardless of placement. Well, until some manufacturer makes an inwall that fires up directly at the ceiling lol. I imagine at least one will get creative and make the claim.
