Client wants to monitor the video intercom from his iPad both at home and remotely. He also needs to remotely activate the door lock. What do you guys recommend? Which manufacturer has the most reliable app?

I just picked up a Ring doorbell. I'll be putting it in tomorrow. That with a Iris door lock will allow him to see when someone rings the doorbell and allow him to unlock the door. These are relatively inexpensive options. There are much better commercial grade options available but might not be needed.
