I am SO EXCITED! Finally something that is right inbetween the transit connect and a full sized van!! Sadly its not diesel, probably to hit the 28,950 price point (diesel would add 4-6k to the tag thanks to the EPA) Im extremely interested in this!

Man is it exciting to finally have some competition and innovation for the commercial market!

Yeah the cargo version of most of the Caravans and Ford minivan were always close to perfect. Hell most of us would buy the Astro is it was available new today.

I want them to start building these with hybrids or tech that gives some focus to city driving. I have never been a big fan of eco tech but if it saves me money I am all for it.

In a perfect world...

Chevy Astro hybrid.

Battery packs under the floor, all that space, and 40 MPG.

I saw the Mercedes a few weeks ago too, but just not big enough for my use.  I'm close to making a deal on a full size transit.  Leaving the dealer right now.

I was just thinking it was about time for you to trade vans. How many miles are on your current Van? 40,000?

I got about 120,000 and 135,000 on my two Astro vans.

Both running great. Hope to get another 100,00 out of both of them.

Also got a Prius with 45,000 miles that we use to deliver parts. It is amazing how much we can load into this Prius with the hatchback.
If you are going to do the job...why not do it the right way?

My 2004 Astro just hit 90,000 and has been problem free.  I'd hang onto it, but it's just too small for me now.

Great. A Mercedes van, $400 oil changes. Consider the cost of ownership. Second only to BMW perhaps, when it goes in for service. B)ring M)y W)allet.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
