Anyone know when LG will roll-out NON-CURVED OLED screens in the 50-60" size range?

They sure are making flat OLEDs. [Link: lg.com]

I would think we will start seeing the new stuff fairly soon.

Actually they are warped.

Dangit...They all looked "flat" in the provided link. If you drill down into each SKU, they are all curved screen models.

I have certainly read that LG will introduce flat models, but nothing to indicate availablitliy. I guess it's Samsung LED's this time. Bleck.

They maybe curved, but they are flat by default. In other words, with a push of a button. They can be flat or curved...

If your not a cabinet maker... Be sure to write in the contract that you are not responsible for breakage if the client hires a cabinet maker. Especially with tight specs where the cabinet is literally touching the TV's edge.

I would hate to see a 1,000 year old vase take a spill because the home owner pressed the curve button.

Anyone else can think of something that can go wrong?

Hopefully the remote buttons will be labeled, "INCORRECT/Curved and CORRECT/Flat."

My distributor claims LG will have flat OLEDs in September. Though I'm not sure I'd sell to a client based on that info.
